Auditions Information
By becoming a dancer in Inbisat Dance Company you will be making a commitment to personal growth, being a supportive team member and the joy of joining our Troupe Family!Â
Â
Here are a few things you should keep in mind:

We are looking for contributing participants, positive and respectful of the troupe. Â

Commit to weekly rehearsals (currently every Thursday after the Intermediate Class). You will need to practice routines in your own time to be prepared for classes and gigs. (Monthly fee for rehearsal space $15-$25 depending on amount of members)
Â
Available for performances (which you will be able to commit to on a gig-by-gig basis). This is where COMMITMENT plays a major role!
Â
we are looking for positive and supportive team members who actively help make the troupe experience a happy and successful one.Â
Â
You will be required to buy costumes and props. We try to keep the costs as reasonable as possible, but you will need troupe costumes, and eventually might want to have a solo costume. Costume costs can range from $80-$300 ( the high end varies on what you may select for yourself) and troupe costumes should stay under $200 and will likely be costumes you’ve needed for class performances.
Â
Dancers are required to have the belly dance basics (ie. Makeup, veils, zills, caftan, etc)
Â
Everyone in the Troupe has a job and title that they are responsible for, outside of learning choreography and performing. Many hands make for light work!
