• Inara, as the director of the Azama Dance Company, has the final say on all decisions

• When Inara is away, the Dance Captain is in charge

• All members of ADC must be actively enrolled in classes at Inara Belly Dance

• Monthly dues are paid by all members whether attending rehearsals or not​​

• Dues are based on practice hours as well as the number of members (roughly 

  within $15-$30 a month)
• If ADC is sponsoring an event, all members must be present. Exceptions made for illness
• All members are expected to have the standard makeup kit, including false lashes for feminine presenting members
• All members are expected to take on a job role within the company
• All members will have costume expenses. Professional costumes can vary from $200 to over $500

Rehearsals

• To be included in performances, members must be at the rehearsals 2 weeks prior to the performance date. One of these can be a private with Inara or Crystos if the member is unable to make scheduled rehearsal. For staging purposes, the other must be with the company.
• As a professional dance company member, practice should happen beyond just the scheduled weekly rehearsals.

Gigs

• When a gig requires soloists, they will be selected at random from a hat. Once selected for a solo, names are removed until all members have had the opportunity to solo.
• Azama gigs take priority over other dance opportunities. The exception would be if the other gig was scheduled before the Azama gig.
• Payments from gigs will be divided amongst members based on our company rubric
• Paid gigs are not guaranteed.
